- Introduction to Agile Change AgentFrom the instructor: One of the biggest hurdles organisations have today is the pace of change required to stay ahead is often greater than the individual's and organisation's ability to change and do things differently. Melanie brings real-life insights which mirror my personal experience of organisations trying to keep up in a dynamic world. This is why I decided to bring the Agile Change Agent course into my portfolio. It is packed with tools to help change leaders understand and overcome barriers to change. To facilitate learning, the course scenario requires your interaction - what would you do? While there are no wrong answers, there may be better options than the one you have chosen. This is intentional and designed to replicate the different choices faced in the real world. Make sure you read the book too! Additionally, there is no assumption of prior knowledge of Agile or Change Management. If you do have prior knowledge, please ensure to check the terminology being used in this course, as it may be different to other practices.0
- Context and ConceptsThis section describes why change is necessary, how change and projects work together and why adopting an agile approach to change can facilitate a faster return on investment (ROI). We will also be scene setting for the Roadmap and Business Need sections.4
- Roadmap - Iteration 1In this section you will recreate the online scenario case study, using the Mural example in the video. Submit your example for feedback. When you are comfortable with the creation of this first step, use your own example and submit for feedback. You do not need to go into great detail for either example. Ideally in the project context, change management should be considered from the outset of the project. This doesn't happen as often as it should, then we see "hyper-care" rather than embedded new practices.4
- Roadmap - Iteration 2 and beyondFollowing on from Iteration 1 will be the first 'step' in the change for the organisation. There are a number of factors to consider. It's rare from the initial Roadmap that things remain the same, especially if significant time has elapsed from Iteration 1.0
